Heute waren wir endlich mal so früh am Strand, dass die Dünen am Strand noch Schatten warfen:
das wollte ich die ganze Zeit schon malen.
Ich konnte alles anwenden, was ich bei den beiden Dünenbildern davor rausgefunden hatte, und bin jetzt ganz ganz glücklich mit diesem Bild :-)
Aber total irre, wie schnell die Sonne steigt und die Schatten verschwinden!

Und hier ist noch der für mich schönste Moment beim malen - wenn ich die Lichter auf die Schatten setze und es plötzlich anfängt zu leuchten:
Wenn ich mich nicht immer so dem Motiv verpflichtet fühlen würde, sollte ich hier auch mal aufhören mit dem Malen. Aber hach - ich will einfach immer alles, was da ist, mit aufs Bild malen!
Und das ist das Bild, das Peter mit mir dort gemalt hat - mit Acryfarben, bei ihm knallt die Sonne schon so richtig vom Mittagshimmel!
Today we finally got to the beach so early that the dunes still cast shadows on the sea side:
I wanted to paint that all the time.
I could use everything I had discovered while painting the two dune paintings before and now I'm quite happy with this one :-)
But totally amazing how fast the sun rises and the shadows disappear!
And here is the most beautiful moment for me while painting - when I put the lights on the shadows and it suddenly begins to shine.
If I would not always feel so committed to the motive, I should also stop painting here. But oh - I always want to paint everything that is there!
