Als ich auf der Wetterwebcam sah, das oben auf dem Feldberg die Sonne scheint, während es hier unten in der Stadt schon seit tagen trüb und grau war, war kein Halten mehr und ich fuhr spontan zum Malen in den Taunus.
Die Sonne schien aber wirklich nur ganz oben auf dem Gipfel, weiter unten, wo ich mich entschied zu malen, weil dort weniger Menschen waren, schaffte sie es schon kaum mehr durch die Hochnebeldecke.
Dafür war der Nebel selbst ein wunderschönes Element im Motiv. Diese Nuancen zu malen hat mir viel Spaß gemacht.

When I saw on the weather webcam that the sun was shining at the top of the Feldberg, while it had been cloudy and grey down here in the city for days, there was no stopping me and I spontaneously drove to the Taunus to paint.
But the sun was really only shining at the top of the mountain, further down, where I decided to paint because there were fewer people, it barely made it through the clouds.
But the fog itself was a beautiful element in the motif. I had a lot of fun painting these nuances.
