Koppelschleuse in Meppen

Dieses Bild habe ich als Belohnung für mich am Abend nach meinem Pleinairmalerei Workshop, organisiert vom Stadtmuseum in Meppen, gemalt.

Das Motiv war für ein Feierabendbild ein bisschen anspruchsvoll, zumal die Sonne sehr schnell unterging – aber ich dachte mir, nachdem ich das Rauschen den ganzen Tag beim Workshop gehört hab, will ich's jetzt auch malen.

Ich zeig auch mal ein paar Impressionen des Workshops:
Die Location war superoll, alles tiptop organisiert, mit den Teilnehmer hatten ich rundum Spaß und das Wetter war eine absolute Punktlandung! Besser geht's nicht 😊

 I painted this one as a reward for myself in the evening after my plein air painting workshop, organized by the Stadtmuseum in Meppen.

The motif was a bit challenging for an after-work painting, especially as the sun was setting very quickly - but I thought to myself, after hearing the noise all day at the workshop, I wanted to paint it now too.

I'll also show a few impressions of the workshop:

The location was great, everything was perfectly organized, I had a lot of fun with the participants and the weather was absolutely perfect! It couldn't have been better 😊

Frühlingsblüten vor Rapsfeld

Ich bin ganz glücklich, das erste Rapsfeld der Saison gefunden zu haben ... und dann auch noch das  Zusammentreffen eines blühenden Baumes mit den gelben Blüten des Feldes in einem Bild malen zu dürfen:

Das sind die Farben des Frühlings in ihrer schönsten Form!

Osterglocken

 Ich hab mich mal wieder an ein CloesUp von Blumen gewagt. Nachdem ich das lange nicht mehr gemacht hab (ich glaube seit letztes Frühjahr nicht mehr) ist es für mich ziemlich herausfordernd.

Bei Landschaften kann ich viel umkonkreter bleiben, bei solchen Nahaufnahmen muss ich sehr aufpassen, nicht zu "unlocker" zu werden.

Ausnahmsweise habe ich auf eine Malplatte mit Leinwandstruktur gemalt, da ich keine anderen mehr da hatte: Der Farbauftrag war dadurch etwas ungewohnt: ich konnte hier nicht, wie bei den üblichen glatten Malplatten, die Farbe hin und herschieben  - oder auch ganz wegnehmen, da diese in den Leinwandporen hängen blieb.

I have once again dared to do a CloesUp of flowers. Having not done this for a long time (I don't think since last spring), it's quite challenging for me.

With landscapes I can remain much less specific, but with close-ups like this I have to be very careful not to become too “stiff”.

Frühlingsweg

 Mittlerweile isses so richtig Frühling - es ist war, es grünt und blüht...

Dieses Bild habe ich früh morgens in den Feldern gemalt, die Schatten wanderten extrem schnell. Ich bin froh diesen Winkel der Schatten erwischt zu haben, dass sie den Betrachter direkt ins Bild leiten.

It's really spring now - it's warm, green and blooming...

I painted this scene early in the morning in the fields, the shadows were moving extremely fast. I'm glad I caught this angle of the shadows so that they lead the viewer directly into the painting.
