Als ich mit diesem Bild begonnen hatte, war der Himmel noch sehr bewölkt, und als ich fertig war fast wolkenlos - ich hab sie also weggemalt :-)
Ich bin immer wieder ganz hin und weg von den Farbe hier: Wie sich das Meer von dunklem Ultramarin ganz hinten nach vorne über Grün ins Türkise verfärbt, bis sich ganz vorne die Sandfarbe mit reinmischt und wie der Himmel sich in den flachen Ebbepfützen spiegelt... so so schön!!
When I started this painting, the sky was still very cloudy, and when I was done almost cloudless - so I painted them away :-)
I'm always blown away by the color here: How the sea changes color from dark ultramarine at the very back to the front over green into turquoise, until the sand color mixes in with the very front and how the sky is reflected in the shallow low tide puddles... so so beautiful!!!
