Nachmittags malte ich das (Badezimmer)Fenster unserer wunderschönen Unterkunft.
Um die schnell wandernde Sonne einzufangen, habe ich, solange die ganze Wand im Schatten lag, in aller Ruhe den oberen Teil mit dem Dach gemacht.
Als die Sonne dann (erst ganz untern) die Wand beleuchtete, konnte ich die Wandfarbe in der Sonne bis zum Fenster anlegen.
So musste ich mich erst dann beeilen, als die Sonne das Fenster berührte und langsam den Schatten nach oben verschob, die eigentliche Kante selbst, ging dann ganz schnell zu malen.
Beim Malen (bzw knipsen) diese Bildes habe ich meinen Lieblingspinsel verloren. Ich sah ihn noch im Gras liegen und dachte: nicht vergessen aufzuheben!!
Als ich (natürlich erst) Stunden später nach dem Pinsel suchte, war er unauffindbar, auch in den folgenden Tagen tauchte r nicht wieder auf.
Den muss ein Tier gklaut haben - es gibt einfach keine andere Erklärung!
In the afternoon, I painted the (bathroom) window of our beautiful cottage.
To catch the quickly moving sun, I took my time painting the upper part with the roof while the entire wall was still in shadow.
When the sun then illuminated the wall (starting at the bottom), I was able to apply the wall paint in the sun up to the window.
So I only had to hurry when the sun touched the window and slowly shifted the shadow upwards; the actual edge itself was then very quick to paint.
While painting (or rather taking photos) of this painting, I lost my favourite paintbrush. I saw it lying in the grass and thought: don't forget to pick it up!
When I looked for the paintbrush (of course only) hours later, it was nowhere to be found, and it didn't reappear in the following days either.
An animal must have stolen it – there's simply no other explanation!
