Die Silhouette des Turms im Gegenlicht habe ich in sehr angenehmer Gesellschaft in der Klosterruine Limburg gemalt: Uli vom Kunstblog Mannheim hat mich heute in meinem „Atelier” besucht, und wir hatten ein sehr angeregtes Gespräch, während ich malte.
Ich habe mich gefragt, warum die Farben auf dem Bild so viel wärmer aussahen, als ich das Foto im Schatten geknipst habe, und kühler im Sonnenlicht (normalerweise ist es genau umgekehrt).
Das Rätsel ist gelöst: Hinter mir befand sich eine Mauer, deren rote Steine das warme Sonnenlicht auf die Leinwand reflektierten.

I painted this tower silhouette in the backlight in very pleasant company at the Limburg monastery ruins:
Uli from Kunstblog visited me in my "studio" that day and we had a very lively conversation while I was painting.
I wondered why the colours looked so much warmer when I took the foto in the shade and cooler in the sunlight (it's usually the exact opposite).
The mystery is solved: I had a wall behind me, whose red stones reflected the warm sunlight onto the canvas.
