Frankfurter Skyline

Das ist der Blick auf Frankfurt vom Nordwesten (bei Berkersheim) aus gesehen. Aber eigentlich wollte ich nur die Wolken malen... Ob der Baum eine gute Idee war, weiß ich nich nicht, er lenkt schon ein bisschen den Blick von den Wolken ab, oder?

This is the view of Frankfurt as seen from the northwest (near Berkersheim). But actually I just wanted to paint the clouds... I don't know if the tree was a good idea, it distracts the view from the clouds a bit, doesn't it?

Cityscape

Wieder mal haben mich die urbansketcher an einen Ort gelockt, an dem ich ohne sie niemals gemalt hätte... Das Motiv hat aber super viel Spaß gemacht  - ist fast ein bisschen new York :-)

Once again the urban sketchers have lured me to a place where I would never have painted without them... But the motif was a lot of fun - it's almost a bit like new York :-)

Spiegelung

Die Bäume verfärben sich diesen Herbst echt sehr langsam...
ich malte, weil es dort so schön war, gleich noch mal am See im Ostpark.
So knackig habe ich die Spiegelung erst selten hinbekommen, der Trick war, dass ich die Farbe flüssiger mischte....

The trees are changing their colour very slowly this autumn...

I painted, because it was so beautiful there, again at the lake in the Ostpark.

I rarely got the reflection so crisp, the trick was that I mixed the colour more fluidly....
