Nie hätte ich gedacht, daß ich mal mitten im Trubel auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt malen werde - und dass es dann überhaupt nicht so schlimm wie gedacht wird!
Das Motiv mit den schönen Lichtern hatte es mir schon vor Tagen angetan Ich zögerte lange, ob ich's malen soll. ALs ich da dann stand, halb hinter einer Mülltonne, dass ich nicht umgerannt werde, war ich ganz überrascht, dass mich kaum jemand beachtete. Da sind so viele Lichter, Gedudel und Gerüche- die Menschen sind dort alle total reizüberflutet. Ich fiel deswegen wohl fast gar nicht auf.
Je später es wurde, um so schöner wurde das Licht.
I would never have thought that I would paint in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas market - and that it wouldn't be as bad as I thought!
The motif with the beautiful lights had already appealed to me days ago. I hesitated for a long time whether I should paint it. As I stood there, half behind a garbage can, so that I would not be run over, I was surprised that hardly anyone noticed me. There are so many lights, tootling and smells - the people there are all totally overwhelmed with excitement. I guess that's why I didn't stand out at all.
