Apfelblüten

...und noch mehr Blüten - aus denen hier werden mal Äpfel.

Ich müsste eigentlich mal richtig Blüten üben - aber die Zeit in der die Bäume so blühen ist einfach viel zu kurz... und vom Foto mag ich sie nicht malen (es ist einafch so viel schöner mitten in den Blüten zu stehen beim malen).

I should really practice blossompaintings - but the time in which the trees blossom is much too short... and from the photo I don't like to paint them (it's just so much nicer to stand in the middle of the flowers while painting).

Kirschbaum

Und noch mehr Kirschblüten - dieses mal von weiter weg.

Der Baum steht hier im Günthersburgpark im Schulgarten "der grüne Daumen".

Den bunten "Inklusionszaun" habe ich schon öfter gemalt, die Fraben knallen immer so schön raus.

I have painted the colourful "fence of inclusion" several times, the colours always pop out so beautifully.

Kirschblüten

Es geht gleich weiter mit den Blüten: dieses mal die aus denen mal Kirschen werden :-)

Mein Plan war, dass ich die einzelnen Blüten zwar definiere, dabei aber möglichst locker bleibe, damit dieses fluffige der dünnen Blütenblätter rüberkommt. 

Leider bin ich auch an diesem Bild wieder mal zu lange geblieben - 

ich habe den Stand nach ca 20 Minuten mal geknipst, das hätte schon (fast) gereicht - und ist tatsächlich noch um einiges lockerer als das fertige Bild (nach etwas mehr als 1 Stunde).

Eigentlich müsste ich mal einen Monat nur Blüten malen um das geknackt zu kriegen... aber leider ist die Saison ja immer recht kurz.

Continuing with the blossoms right away: this time the ones that will become some cherries :-)

My plan was to define the individual flowers, but to stay as loose as possible, to capture that fluffyness  of the thin petals. 

Unfortunately, I stayed too long on this picture again - 

I took a picture of it after about 20 minutes, that was (almost) enough - and is actually a lot looser than the finished painting (after a little more than 1 hour).

Actually, I would have to paint only flowers for a month to crack this... but unfortunately the season is always quite short.

Magnolien

So schön sie blühen, so kurz blühen sie... ich hatte sehr auf Sonne gehofft - und das Warten hat sich gelohnt! Ich habe sie gerade noch erwischt...

Ganz glücklich bin ich noch nicht damit - muss aber wohl bis nächstes Jahr warten um es noch mal zu probieren, schon während ich dort auf dem Bornheimer Friedhof malte, regneten die Blütenblätter auf mich herab.

As beautiful as they bloom, as short as they bloom... I hoped for the sun - and it was worth waiting!
I just caught them...
I'm not quite happy with it yet - but I'll have to wait until next year to try it again.
While I was painting there at the Bornheimer cemetery, the petals were already raining down on me.
