Feldweg

Und schon wieder habe ich einen Feldweg gemalt, dieser hier führt in Richtung Lohberg. Ich finde ein Weg im Bild hat immer was sehr erzählerisches, das mag ich gerne. Und Sonnenflecken im Schatten mag ich ja sowieso immer.

 Bevor ich das Bild malte habe ich eine kleine Ölskizze gemalt, eine Pochade. Die hier ist wirklich winzig, nur 5 x 5 cm - das zwingt mich, mich ganz auf die großen Formen zu beschränken.


And again I have painted a field path, this one leads in the direction of Lohberg. I find a path in the painting always has something narrative about it, I like that. I always like sundabbles in the shadow anyway.

 Before I painted the big one made a small oil sketch, a pochade. This one is really tiny, only 5 x 5 cm - that forces me to limit myself to the big shapes.
