Der erste Schnee der Saison - natürlich nicht hier unten in Frankfurt, sondern oben im Taunus.
Es war ziemlich trüb, der Schnee gefroren - und diese vereiste Pfütze in den Traktorspuren zog meinen Blick an.
Ich bin ganz glücklich, dass ich ein Kürzel für die verschneiten Äste im Hintergrund gefunden habe und gar nicht erst versuchte Ast für Ast zu malen. Eigentlich ist es nur der exakte Farbton - das reicht schon um diese Bäume darzustellen.
The first snow of the season - not down here in Frankfurt, of course, but up in the Taunus.
It was quite cloudy, the snow frozen - and this icy puddle in the tractor tracks attracted my eye. I am quite happy that i found an abbreviation for the snowy branches in the background and did not even try to paint branch by branch. Actually, it's just the exact shade - that's enough to depict these trees.
