Es hat geschneit! Wie immer zwar nur oben im Taunus, aber doch in Reichweite :-)
Da hatte ich mich so gefreut, und hatte dann doch so mit dem Schnee zu kämpfen wie nur selten!
Da ich den Schirm, als es anfing zu schneien, leider etwas zu spät aufgespannt hatte, und es bei dem Wind die Flocken auch unter den Schirm wehte, hatte ich die ganze Palette volle Schneekristalle, die dann auch der Leinwand sehr krümelig die Farbe verklumpte.
Irgendwann musste ich deshalb leider aufhören, es hatte so einfach keinen Sinn mehr.
Ausnahmsweise habe ich das Bild dann zuhause noch mal komplett überarbeitet... und wie so oft dabei das lockere, das ich beim draußen Malen habe, verloren.

It has snowed! As always, only up in the Taunus, but still within reach :-)
I was so looking forward to it, but then I had to struggle with the snow like I rarely do!
Unfortunately, I had opened the umbrella a little too late when it started snowing, and the wind blew the flakes under the umbrella, so I had a whole palette full of snow crystals, which then clumped up the paint on the canvas in a very crumbly way.
At some point I unfortunately had to stop, it just didn't make sense any more.
As an exception, I then completely reworked the painting at home... and, as is often, I lost the loose feeling I have when painting outside.
