Das ist der Blick auf Frankfurt von Norden aus betrachtet - über die Felder rund um den Lohrberg.
Blattlose Bäume zu malen empfinde ich immer noch als Herausforderung - vor allem, wenn sie so wie hier nicht so nah sind, dass ich die Äste malen kann, aber auch nicht so weit weg, dass ich sie nur flächig malen kann.
Rechts vom Fernsehturm hat eine kleine Fliege ihr Leben für die Kunst geopfert: ich ließ sie als "Flieger" drin damit ihr Opfer nicht umsonst war.....
This is the view to Frankfurt from the north - across the fields around the Lohrberg.
I still find painting leafless trees challenging - especially when, as here, they are not so close that I can paint the branches, but also not so far away that I can only paint them as shapes.
To the right of the TV tower, a small fly sacrificed its life for the art: I left it in as a "flying object" so that its sacrifice was not useless.....
