Diese kleine Barke am Ufer der Semois malte ich dann nach dem sich der Morgen Nebel verzogen hatte.
Da warf sich zum Glück Torsten ins Bild und hielt mich davon ab zu viel zu malen – so dass ich zum Bildrand hin schön unspezifisch blieb, wodurch der Blick nun schön zur einzig ausgearbeiteten Stelle des Bildes gelenkt wird.
I painted this small barque on the bank of the Semois after the morning fog had cleared.
Fortunately, Torsten threw himself into the painting and stopped me from painting too much - so that I remained nicely unspecific towards the edge of the composition, which now draws the eye nicely to the only elaborated part of the painting.
