Langsam wird es wärmer, und sogar im Taunus fängt es an zu tauen.
Wir sind deswegen schnell noch mal raus um diesen Winterbach zu malen. Ich habe sehr schön frei und locker angefangen, aber zum Ende zu viel davon übermalt. Trotzdem bin ich sehr glücklich mit diesem Bild, es fängt die Stimmung vor Ort richtig ein.

It's slowly getting warmer, and even in the Taunus it's starting to thaw.
So we quickly went back to paint this winter brook. I started out very painterly and loosely, but overpainted too much of it towards the end. Still, I'm very happy with this painting, it really captures the mood of the place.
