Diesen wunderschönen alten Trekker (Baujahr 66) fand ich hinter der Revierförsterei Billtalhöhe bei Königstein. Das hat so richtig Spaß gemacht den zu malen. Auch wenn bei dem Bild nicht ganz klar wird, was ich eigentlich erzählen will: da war jede Stelle so schön, dass sie unbedingt mit aufs Bild musste, so dass ich meinen Fokus ein bisschen verloren habe :-)
Die Schatten wanderten so schnell, und der Traktor bekam ganz plötzlich doch noch ein bisschen Sonne ab, so habe ich dann doch noch schnell den Lichteinfall gegen Ende des Bildes geändert.
So sah das Bild vorher aus:
I found this beautiful old tractor (built in 66) behind the Billtalhöhe forestry station next to Königstein. It was really fun to paint it. Even if it's not quite clear what I actually want to tell in the painting: every spot was so beautiful that it absolutely had to be painted, so I lost my focus a little :-)
The shadows moved so quickly, and the tractor suddenly got a bit of sun, so I quickly changed the light towards the end of the painting.
