Da es mir da draußen zur Zeit einfach zu kalt ist (um Frühlingsbilder zu malen!), habe ich beschlossen mal wieder ein Stilleben zu malen und micherneut an Magnolien versucht.
Ich glaube jetzt habe ich die ganz gut geknackt bekommen.
Auf Rat eines Kollegen habe ich hier mehr auf die Kanten geachtet, d.h. ich habe bewusst auch versucht Unschärfen zu erzeugen um den Blick besser lenken zu können.
Since it's just too cold out there at the moment (to paint spring pictures!), I decided to paint a still life again and tried my hand at magnolias.
I think I have cracked them quite well now.
On the advice of a colleague, I paid more attention to the edges here, i.e. I deliberately tried to create blurs in order to direct the eye better.
