Oh, was für ein tolles Motiv: ich war mit den Urbansketchern auf der Burg Eltz!
Das oben ist das zweite Bild, da hatte ich mich schon ein bisschen eingegrooved :-)
Beim ersten Bild hatte ich noch ein bisschen Mühe das, was ich da vor mir habe zu begreifen, zumal ich ständig angesprochen wurde (selbst schuld an einem Samstag an so einem Aussichtsplatz zu malen).

Bei zweiten klappte das schon besser, ich sass zusammen mit Danny und Nathalie etwas versteckt hinter der Mauer - da brauchte ich nur etwas über eine Stunde.
Mit dem Bild bin ich ganz glücklich... genau so hatte ich mir das gedacht - und mit den Vögeln (die da tatsächlich waren!) hat es gleich was mörchenhaftes bekommen. Sieht ein bisschen aus wie Hogwarts, oder?
der Prozess
Oh, what a great motive: I was at the castle Eltz with the urbansketchers !
With the first painting I struggled a bit, especially since I was constantly approached (myself to blame to paint on a saturday at such a viewing place).
The second one (the first in this post) worked better, I sat with Danny and Nathalie hidden behind the wall - it took me just over an hour.
I am very happy with this painting ... that's exactly how I thought it should be - and with the birds (who were actually there!) it got something magical. Looks a bit like Hogwarts, right?
