Gestern habe ich in Darmstadt einen ganz kleinen Teil der Waldspirale von Hundertwasser gemalt - das ganze irre Ding zu malen hätte mich wohl überfordert.
So schräg ist dort alles, dass man sich sehr konzentrieren muss die Perspektive nicht zu verhauen.
Das Licht wurde gegen Ende des Bildes immer schöner...
Weil das so ein schönes Motiv war, habe ich beschlossen es auch digital am iPad zu illustrieren (zuhause, nach einem Foto).
Das ist ganz schön beide Versionen mal nebeneinander zu zeigen..
Die Illustration ist zwar irgendwie "fehlerfreier", aber lange nicht so atmosphärisch wie das Ölbild, das ich vor Ort gemalt habe.

it is everything so skew and at an angel,, that I had to concentrate very much not to spank the perspective.
The light became more and more beautiful towards the end of the painting ...
Because that was such a nice motive, I decided to illustrate it digitally on the iPad (at home, after a photo).
That's nice to show both versions side by side ...
Although the illustration is somehow "flawless", it is not as atmospheric as the oil painting that I did on location.
