Schon in der Bretagne sah ich überall die wunderschönen Mohnblumen am Feldrand blhen, dachte aber, dass ich am Meer doch lieber das Meer malen sollte :-)
Denn: offensichtlich kann ich Mohnblumen auch zuhause malen - die fand ich oben in den Streuobstwiesen.
Auch dieses Bild diente mir wieder zur Übung den Fokus zu lenken - nicht alles auf dem Bild gleich wichtig zu nehmen und deswegen gleich detailiert zu malen, sondern mich zu trauen das "Drumrum" nur als Kulisse ganz grob anzulegen.
Already in Brittany I saw everywhere the beautiful poppies blooming at the edge of the field, but I thought that I should rather paint the sea at the sea :-)
Because: obviously I can also paint poppies at home - I found them up in the orchards.
Also this painting served me again for the exercise to steer the focus - not to take everything on the painting equally importantly and to paint therefore immediately detailed, but to dare me the surrounding only as scenery completely roughly to paint.
