Streuobstwiese

Eigentlich wollte ich ja die Streuobstwiese malen, aber es war soooo heiß - das ich nur im Schatten rumliegen konnte.
Nachdem ich dann ganz lange auf die schönen Kontraste unter dem Mispelbaum geglotzt hatte, hab ich's dann einfach gemalt.

Und ja: ich sollte weiterhin öfter den Malspachtel, das hat sich in letzter Zeit bewährt :-)

Actually I wanted to paint the orchard, but it was soooo hot - that I could only lie around in the shade.
After looking for a long time at the beautiful contrasts under the medlar tree, I just painted it.

And yes: I should continue to use the painting knife more often, this has proven itself lately :-)
