Nachdem ich nun mittlerweile fast alle Blickwinkel auf den Streuobstwiesen rund um Frankfurt schon mal gemalt habe - bin ich dieses mal einfach näher ran und hab diese Äpfel gemalt.
Das hat mir großen Spaß und klappte viel besser, als ich dachte!
Tatsächlich habe ich hier gut anwenden könne, was ich bei dem Porträtmalereikurs, den ich im Winter gemacht habe, gelernt habe: Nur das malen, was ich sehe und drauf vetrauen, dass sich die einzelnen (recht groben) Pinselstriche dann zu Äpfeln und Blätter zusammensetzen... und vor allem: nicht alle gleich doll ausarbeiten!
Nein, ich habe sie nicht probiert: das waren so ganz kleine Mostäpfel – bestimmt super, und außerdem klebten an alle diese Mottengespinste, von denen hier oben leider fast alle Bäume befallen sind.

I had a lot of fun and it worked much better than I thought!
In fact, I was able to put to practice what I learned in the portrait painting course I took in winter: Only paint what I see and trust that the individual (rather bold) brushstrokes will come together to form apples and leaves... and above all: don't paint them all equally detailed!
No, I didn't try them: they were very small cider apples - I'm sure they were sour, and besides, they all had those moth webs stuck to them, which unfortunately affect almost all the trees up here.
