Während ich das Bild an diesem heißen Sommermorgen im kleinen Eppental gemalt habe, kamen die 3 süßen Pferde, die dort wohnen auf diesen teil der Wiese.
Ich zögerte erst sie reinzumalen, da ich sie als Motiv doch ein bisschen zu herausfordern fand – als sie sich dann aber ganz weit weg von mir aufgestellt hatten, konnte ich sie ausreichend vereinfachen und sie durften rein.
While I was painting this piece on this hot summer morning in the Eppent, the 3 cute horses that live there came to this part of the meadow.
At first I hesitated to paint them in because I thought they were a bit too challenging as a motif - but when they had positioned themselves far away from me, I was able to simplify them enough and they were allowed in.
