Das ist die Stelle, wo in Gronau die Nidder in die Nidda mündet. Ich war ganz verliebt in dieses winterliche Grün und habe versucht die Farben so genau wie möglich zu mischen.
Am schönsten fand ich aber die Spiegelung und habe versucht sie ganz locker und schnell zu malen, nicht zu lange an ihr herumzufummeln.
This is the place where the Nidder flows into the Nidda in Gronau. I was completely in love with this wintry green and tried to mix the colours as accurately as possible.
I found the reflection the most beautiful and tried to paint it very loosely and quickly, not to fiddle with it for too long.
