Holzstapel

Dieses Motiv war sehr herausfordernd: da ist so viel auf dem Bild und das Licht hat sich ständig verändert, dass ich mich ein bisschen verzettelt habe.
Deswegen habe ich zuhause den Holzstapel und die Lichtflecken noch mal komplett übermalt, um den Fokus deutlicher zu lenken: Ich reduzierte die Lichtflecken im Bild auf nur wenige direkt vorm Stapel und ließ dafür die Schnittkanten der Stämme mehr leuchten. Nun schaut man mehr dorthin, was ich von Anfang wollte. Leider habe ich die Finger nicht vom Vordergrund lassen können: den fand ich vorher klarer. Aber so habe ich wenigsten wieder was gelernt!

ein schön lockerer Bildanfang, ich habe leider zu wenig davon stehen lassen.

This motif was very challenging: there is so much in the picture and the light has been changing all the time that I got a bit bogged down.
That's why I completely repainted the wood pile and the light spots at home to direct the focus more clearly: I reduced the light spots in the painting to only a few directly in front of the stack and let the cut edges of the logs glow more. Now the look is more how  I wanted it from the beginning. Unfortunately I could not keep my fingers off the foreground: I found it clearer before. But at least I learned something again!
