Das ist ein weiteres Motiv, zu dem mich der Wind hingeblasen hat: Ich habe mir einen windgeschützten Platz im Windschatten der Felsen unterhalb des Corps de la Garde de Lavillo gesucht und den Blick von dort gemalt.
Danke an den Wind: Ich glaube nicht, dass ich sonst jemals entdeckt hätte, wie interessant dieses kontrastreiche Motiv aus einem so steilen Blickwinkel wirkt.
... und hier noch etwas zur Weiterbildung:

This is yet another motif that the wind blew me to: I found a sheltered spot in the lee of the rocks below the Corps de la Garde de Lavillo and painted the view from there.
Lucky me: I don’t think I would ever have discovered otherwise just how striking this high-contrast scene looks from such a steep angle.
