Unglaublich wie schnell das Wasser bei der Flut steigt: ich habe mich mit diesem Bild wirklich sehr beeilt – und trotzdem am Ende wieder nasse Füße bekommen :-)
Dafür ist es dank des Zeitdrucks schön locker geblieben…

Unbelievable how fast the water rises during high tide: I really hurried with this painting - and still ended up with wet feet again :-)
But thanks to the time pressure it stayed painterly and rough...
