Schon als ich das erste mal den Hof unserer schönen Unterkunft in Kerdreal betrat, wusste ich, dass dieser wunderschöne Baum (ich glaube es ist eine Zypressenart?) von mir gemalt werden möchte.
Fast eine ganze Woche bewunderte ich wie das Licht zu jeder Tageszeit das Motiv veränderte - am letzten Tag dann habe ich ihn vormittags endlich gemalt – neugierig beäugt von den Kindern, die den ganzen Tag unter, um und auf diesem Baum spielten….
From the first time I entered the courtyard of our beautiful accommodation in Kerdreal, I knew that this beautiful tree (I think it is a type of cypress?) wanted to be painted by me.
For almost a whole week I admired how the light changed the motif at every time of day - on the last day I finally painted it in the morning - curiously watched by the children who played under, around and on this tree all day long....
