Letzten Freitag kam mein Maler-Kollege Torsten (der, der mich überhaupt erst zum malen gebracht hat) nach Frankfurt, und so sind wir diesmal schön zu dritt malen gegangen.
Als Location haben wir uns die Dietesheimer Steinbrüche bei Mühlheim ausgesucht, sehr schön und idyllisch!
Beim ersten hab ich ein wenig den Focus beim Malen verloren, erst fand ich ja die Äste im Wasser so toll - aber dann waren die Wurzeln irgendwie doch noch schöner - und hej: die Sonnenflecken sind ja irre... sieht man dann dem Bild an, dass ich mich nicht so recht entscheiden konnte, was ich eigentlich "erzählen" wollte...
Beim zweiten klappte das besser: die Birke wollte ich malen und den Rest habe ich relativ flott angelegt.
Sicherheitshalber hatte ich das Bild geknipst, bevor ich den Baum reinmalte - da sieht man richtig, wie fad das ohne gewesen wäre....
Als ich dann Torstens Bild sah, merkte ich aber, dass man da noch viel lockerer rangehen kann, seine Malweise motiviert mich sehr, freier zu werden.... mal sehen wann ich's dann auch wirklich werde ;-)
Vielleicht postet er seine Bilder ja in seinem Blog painting cologne.
Das Bild hat Peter am gleichen Ort wie mein erstes mit einer anderen Blickrichtung gemalt.
Find ich schön, wie die orangene Untermalung durchblitzt...
Last friday we painted togehter with Torsten at the Dietesheimer Steinbrüche - very idyllic!
By painting the first I lost my focus - i loved the branches in the water, but the roots were also beauitiful - and then I discovered the lovely sunspots... so you can see in the picturethat that I couldn't decide what to "tell" ...
Peter painted his at the same spot - but the view in the other direction. I like how the underpainted orange shines through his painting.
The 2nd of the day was straighter: i wanted to paint the birk and let the rest more loosely. I took a foto befor I painted the birk in it - you can see how boring it would be without it.
As I finished I saw the painting of Torsten and knew that I can get much more loosely - maybe he posts his painting of the day in his blog painting cologne.
