Am zweiten Tag unseres Artretreats sind wir die Küste nach Westen gefahren, bis nach Yport.
Dort haben wir das erste mal am Fuß der Klippen gestanden - und sie sind wirklich unfassbar hoch!
Deswegen habe ich beim ersten Bild aich menschen mit reingemalt - weil man das sonst überhaupt nicht sieht.
Das zweite Motiv war schnell gefunden - es befand sich die ganze Zeit in unserem Rücken. Die Boote sahen so aus, als seinen sie extra so arrangiert worden, um von uns gemalt zu werden.
Hier malt Alfons ebenfalls die Boote - nachdem Torsten und ich schon damit durch waren. Wir warteten dann erst eine Weile - doch dann fingen wir einfach mit dem dritten Motiv an: Der Blick an den Booten vorbei zu den Klippen im Osten hin.

On the second day of our artretreat we drove along the coast to the west until we reached Yport.
There we stood at the foot of the cliffs for the first time - and they are really incredibly high!
That's why I painted people in the first painting - because otherwise you can't see them at all.
The second motive was found quickly - it was in our back all the time. The boats looked like this, as they were arranged especially to be painted by us.
Here Alfons also paints the boats - after Torsten and I had already been through with it. We waited a while - but then we just started with the third motif: The view past the boats to the cliffs in the east.
